Escola Torroja I Miret

Escola Torroja i Miret is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in Vila-seca. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (ages 3 to 6) and the Primary stage (ages 6 to 12). The center works with Spanish, Catalan, and English, and has an experimental foreign language plan (PELE) that reflects its status as a multilingual school.

Among its own projects and activities are an Erasmus+ program, a digital strategy for the center, a school publication, and a magazine. The center also develops initiatives aimed at families, such as traveling suitcases and math workshops, and has a commitment letter. Additionally, it maintains a section dedicated to health.

Students participate in outings and activities such as a visit to the CAP of Vila-seca as part of Health Week, a trip to Montblanc focused on the Middle Ages for the initial cycle, and the recording of the graduation song in a studio. The center is also linked to the organization of the Sosciathlon, a solidarity day whose eleventh edition was held in La Pineda Platja and whose proceeds are allocated to research on childhood and adult tumors.
