Lli Privada Pineda

The Centre d'Educació Infantil Pineda is a private nursery school, authorized and subsidized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat. It caters to children from 4 months to 3 years old and has a long history. Its pedagogical approach considers the child as the protagonist of their own learning, with individualized attention, and seeks to promote autonomous, emotional, cognitive, physical, and social development, as well as involvement and communication with families.

The methodology is active, holistic, innovative, and motivating, based on play, experimentation, and discovery, with spaces rich in stimuli. The center organizes activities within the center, educational outings throughout the year, introductory English activities taught by native professionals, swimming, and celebrations of traditional festivals (castanyada, tió, fiesta mayor, carnival, and Sant Jordi). It also develops a project that invites families to participate in the daily life of the center.

Among its services and facilities are a welcome service and extended hours, a dining room with menus adapted to the developmental needs of children, AMPA, psychopedagogical attention, a digital agenda, a parents' school, extracurricular activities, a computer room, a school garden, six classrooms, two playgrounds differentiated by age, and a multipurpose room. The center is located in Vila-seca.
