Juan De Mairena

IES Juan de Mairena is a public center located in San Sebastián de los Reyes that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP). The languages used in teaching are Spanish, English, and French. The center publishes the academic calendars for teachers and students of the different stages, as well as the calendars for the reception of ESO and Bachillerato students, and has specific information about admission and enrollment, with differentiated procedures for vocational training cycles.

Among its materials for the start of the school year are the lists of books for ESO and Bachillerato and the distribution of books within the ACCEDE program. The center also disseminates external scholarship announcements for vocational training studies. In terms of its own projects, students have created a digital newspaper throughout the year in the AL classroom, and the center maintains a news and events section with the highlighted dates of the school calendar. The center has bus and commuter train stops nearby.
