El Palomar

El Palomar is a private preschool authorized by the Community of Madrid that provides the first cycle of early childhood education, aimed at children aged 0 to 3 years. The center has over 30 years of experience in this sector.

Its facilities include two spacious and bright classrooms with natural ventilation, designed to be safe, warm, and comfortable, and equipped with objects that stimulate students and adapt to their changing needs. The classrooms include a designated hygiene area, with visible toilets and adapted sinks, and each child has their own mat or crib for sleeping. The center is complemented by a private patio of 60 square meters, as well as a kitchen, a director's office, a sink, and a storage room.

The educational project is organized around four areas. The sensory area works on the perception of reality, quantities, shapes, colors, and sounds through the five senses, with the discovery of textures, flavors, and smells. The motor area focuses on the knowledge of one's own body and its capacity for movement. The language and communication area addresses verbal and gestural communication with others. The emotional area relates to one's own and others' emotions and feelings. The center leans towards learning through play in a flexible environment and places importance on routines to reinforce trust and security. It seeks to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect with families, conceiving the school as an extension of the home and promoting personal autonomy in this first stage.
