Hispanidad

CEIP Hispanidad is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, in the Community of Madrid. It offers Early Childhood and Primary Education stages.

The center has been part of the bilingual school network of the Community of Madrid since the 2021-2022 school year, when the bilingual education project in English was created. During the 2022-2023 school year, the program was implemented across all levels of Early Childhood at the center, corresponding to the first and second levels of the second cycle. Joining this project involves adapting the schedule, the teaching staff, and the teaching methodologies to promote English proficiency from an early age. The bilingual team consists of seven teachers from the center with bilingual qualifications and one conversation assistant, and there is a bilingual coordinator responsible for maintaining and reviewing the project. Among the program's objectives are to improve students' communicative competence, to learn about cultural references from English-speaking countries, and to promote lifelong learning through the learning of foreign languages.

Regarding services, the center has a school cafeteria, for which information about scholarships announced by the regional administration is published. The educational community uses the virtual classroom and the EducaMadrid platform as a digital educational environment, as well as the Raíces educational management system. The center facilitates access to the textbooks for each course. In accordance with the Regional Plan against Drugs of the Community of Madrid, the center has established an anonymous and confidential complaint box, available to any member of the educational community, with three communication channels: a physical box located at the center, an email box, and a box via QR code. The center also has an Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Team that analyzes the global and individual needs of students and identifies students with special educational needs, specific learning difficulties, or high abilities, to provide support from an early age. This team advises educational teams in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational projects and individual curricular adaptations, and supports students with special attention to prevention, detection, and assessment.
