La Escuela

CEIP La Escuela is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, starting from the 3-year-old classroom, and Primary Education from 1st to 6th grade, with Spanish as the vehicular language and English included in the teaching. It has a school cafeteria service and extracurricular activities, and in the Religious Education offer, students can choose between Values or Educational Attention.

The center develops a school radio project, Onda La Escuela, which has boosted its activity following its participation in the Voces del Aula program; 6th-grade students collaborated in designing the logo and 2nd-grade students in creating programs. Additionally, it has a protocol for action in case of allergic reactions and authorization for the administration of medication by nursing staff, and it is recognized as a DIGICRAFT reference center.

Enrollment is done through an application accompanied by documentation such as the ID or passport of the guardians, the family book, a photograph, the form for choosing Religion or Values, the cafeteria application if this service is desired, and for students from 2nd to 6th grade coming from another center, the transfer certificate. Furthermore, the center announces the Agustín Sánchez awards for good coexistence and provides information about scholarships for students with special educational needs.
