Las Lagunas

IES Las Lagunas is a public secondary education center located in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) in its four courses and includes curricular diversification programs in the first and second years. It complements its offerings with vocational training (FP) in Commercial Services and with Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18) in its two courses. The center provides a school transport service through the Cañada route, which students can request, and offers lockers for rent. It also has an annual bilingual program.

Among the plans and measures it develops are the Inclusion Plan, the Coexistence Plan and its specification, the Tutorial Action Plan, the Academic and Professional Guidance Plan, the Absenteeism Plan, the Center's Digital Plan, the Results Improvement Plan, and the Strategic Plan for Improving Educational Success, along with the Reinforcement Program and the coordinator's well-being programming. It also works with the 4ºESO+Empresa program and the Xcelence Plan, linked to the professional environment, and includes a programming of extracurricular and complementary activities.

The center provides its students with school agendas and student cards, and distributes textbooks from the ACCEDE program in ESO courses. It participates in the eTwinning seminar and is recognized as an EMLab 1000+ center, maintaining school exchanges, such as the one carried out with Freiburg.
