CEIP El Olivar is a public Early Childhood and Primary Education center in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, under the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid and affiliated with the Territorial Area Directorate Madrid-East. It offers the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3) and the second cycle (3-6), in addition to the Primary stage.
The center has a Special Education unit, the Aula Tribu, and is a preferred center for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with two specific classrooms, the Aula Dragón and the Aula Olivos. It has been selected to transform into a Visual School, in order to promote a more inclusive education. It develops the ALBOR Program, focused on analyzing the technological resource access needs of students with disabilities and on decision-making regarding support products and adaptations, and participates in EDUCASAAC, a repository of vocabulary in pictograms and photographs for students in Special Education, Early Childhood, and Primary. It also has a space dedicated to Child Wellbeing and Protection.
