Colegio Santa Monica

Colegio Santa Mónica is a semi-private school located in Rivas-Vaciamadrid that offers early childhood education in its two cycles (0-3 and 3-6 years), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). It provides a dining service and conducts its activities in Spanish and English, with language immersion programs and an emphasis on learning various languages, especially English, from the first cycle of early childhood education.

Its educational project promotes, alongside families, the development of students' talents in their academic, human, and Christian dimensions. The school seeks to engage parents in the life and daily tasks of the school, educating in values such as solidarity, respect, justice, and honesty, and fostering critical thinking. It defines itself as an open school to all, regardless of each family's beliefs, and promotes values such as effort and perseverance, helping each student discover and develop their own talents and manage both success and frustration.

The school belongs to Arenales Red Educativa and applies three proprietary programs from this network — BePlus, BeTutor, and Izar — aimed at the personal growth of the student, as well as the House System Project, linked to values such as effort, courage, strength, and determination. Additionally, it follows the IAM model (Innovation, Autonomy, and Mentoring), which includes the integration of technology in education through the iPad initiative and the development of a digital curriculum throughout the stages.
