Joviat Les Tanques

Les Tanques is a space dedicated to the dissemination of agricultural and livestock history and to the knowledge and interpretation of flora and fauna, driven by a family that transformed their agricultural operation into this project more than twenty years ago. It is located in Viladecans, in the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat, and is conceived as an environment for leisure, free time, and sports where the horse occupies a central place. The center presents itself as an open learning space for both families and schools.

Among its proposals are the Granja-Espai Botànic, designed to discover the world of farm animals and share a day in contact with nature, and the Club Hípic Les Tanques, founded in 2001 by a family of farmers who started with four horses. The club offers equestrian training for all ages, from the most initial levels and ages to participation in territorial, national, and international competitions, and includes a small school and a riding school.

The center organizes pony rides along a route of more than 800 meters within a natural environment of 85,000 m², as well as birthday celebrations that combine a visit to the farm accompanied by an educator and a pony ride, with an indoor classroom and picnic area available for participants. It also offers summer camps and courses: a camp for children aged 3 to 10 with activities in nature, care for farm animals, outdoor games, and creative workshops, and riding courses starting from age 8.
