Escola Les Parellades

Escola Les Parellades is a public educational center in Sant Pere de Ribes that offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years). It provides a school dining service and after-school care, and has a digital center strategy (EDC). It also offers information about the transportation service.

The dining service publishes monthly menus, which include information about allergies and intolerances and suggestions for dinners. The school announces the academic calendar, dining scholarships, and assistance for students with specific educational support needs (NESE). The center's family association (AFA) collaborates in the day-to-day activities of the school, and thanks to their collaboration, the dining room was soundproofed.

The center publishes the magazine Revistllades, of which it has released four editions, and throughout the year organizes activities such as the end-of-year festival with a farewell video for sixth grade, the Christmas carol, carnival and carnestoltes, the School Day of Non-Violence and Peace, the autumn recital, popular dances, and the parades of Sant Pau and Sant Jordi. It also participates in a solidarity campaign for collecting used clothing and footwear for the benefit of the NGO Global Humanitària, which develops humanitarian projects in India and Guatemala, organized by Mariola Solidaria. The school also sells Christmas lottery tickets, the proceeds of which are allocated to the sixth-grade end-of-year trip.
