E.o.i. De Pozuelo De Alarcon

The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Pozuelo de Alarcón is a public educational center dependent on the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid. Since 2002, it has been teaching German, French, English, and Portuguese, with qualified and expert teachers. The official certificates it issues correspond to the levels of competence established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The center is aimed at the adult population, who can learn or improve languages throughout their lives and obtain a certificate accrediting their level of competence. In addition to teaching activities, it organizes cultural activities.

The educational offer includes face-to-face and blended general courses. The face-to-face courses are annual and are structured in levels from beginner to advanced user, with morning and afternoon shifts according to the language. In German, levels A1 to B2.2 are offered; in French, from A1 to C1; in English, from A1 to C2.2; and in Portuguese, starting from A2 to B2.1. The blended modality, available in English for levels C1 and C2.1, combines 50% face-to-face teaching with 50% autonomous work in the Educamadrid virtual classroom, with personalized follow-up by the lead teacher. Additionally, the center offers special courses for updating, improvement, and specialization (A.P.E.), non-regulated teaching, which vary each year and allow for the improvement of specific skills or the acquisition of language skills for professional development. Among them, courses such as [IN]FÓRMATE in French C1 and ACTÍVATE in English B1 are taught, focused on oral comprehension and expression.
