Instituto Veritas

Instituto Veritas is a center with over fifty years of history, affiliated with the Ángeles Galino Educational Foundation. It offers the first cycle of early childhood education (1-2 years) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18) in a private regime, and the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years), primary education, and compulsory secondary education (ESO) in a concerted regime. In Bachillerato, students have a week of global tests each term; during those days, they only attend the center to take the tests, and the day before they do not attend in person, with the option to connect from home. The center has a Guidance Department that works from the person as the center and supports the educational process of each student.

In early childhood education, the center has designed its own sequenced material in globalized didactic units, articulated around a motivating axis, without generic textbooks, and applies an active methodology with flexible groupings within the classroom and learning corners. It also has its own literacy project that caters to different developmental and learning rhythms. The stage is aimed at promoting autonomy, inclusion, discovery learning, linguistic enrichment, and the development of values and social skills. In primary education, students receive at the beginning of each didactic unit a learning path with the objectives to be achieved, the sequencing of activities, and proposals for extension or reinforcement, and critical thinking is developed through thinking routines, cooperative work dynamics, and research projects.

The center has a library, sports hall, laboratory, computer room, auditorium, cafeteria, school garden, gym, and infirmary, and offers extracurricular activities. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and English. It uses the Educamos platform for academic management and the purchase of textbooks through an online store, and facilitates access to resources such as Chromebooks and Google accounts.
