Legamar

Legamar International School is a private bilingual school in Leganés. It offers stages of Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years), Primary, Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, and International Baccalaureate. The center follows the Spanish curriculum and incorporates the option of BachiBac, and works with the languages Spanish, English, French, and German.

Among its complementary services, it offers a cafeteria, school transport, and extracurricular activities, which include a music school and sports school, in addition to other proposals. It also has wrap care, speech therapy, medical service, psychopedagogical office, and nursing. Its facilities include a library, sports hall, football field, laboratory, computer room, gym, and school garden. Additionally, it organizes summer courses abroad, with stays in England, France, Germany, and the United States, and has programs for studying abroad.

Methodologically, the school places the student at the center of the teaching and learning process and defines the teacher as a companion in that learning. It promotes connected and contextualized learning, the use of ICT, and active strategies such as service-learning, flipped classroom, project-based learning, design thinking, and cooperative learning. Project work and emotional education are part of its model, aimed at helping the student manage their emotions and actively participate in their own development.
