Sant Ramon De Penyafort

Sant Ramon De Penyafort, located in Vilafranca del Penedès, is a private center that encompasses early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Teaching is conducted in Spanish, Catalan, and English, with the English language integrated into the curriculum from the early stages through storytime sessions, routines, songs, and psychomotor activities. The center defines itself as a school committed to people, the planet, and the future, seeking to balance innovation with human warmth, and presents itself as a space where students can grow with confidence, calm, and well-being.

In early childhood education, the methodological basis is early stimulation, articulated around neurological, psychomotor, and emotional development, with the aim of allowing each student to grow at their own pace. Programs such as basic development, motor planning, psychomotricity, and body expression are utilized, along with comprehension projects that promote research, thinking, and cooperative work. In this stage, EMAT, a mathematical program based on multiple intelligences, and Ludilletres for learning reading and writing are used, in addition to a music program focused on listening, singing, dancing, and interpreting. In primary education, the curriculum is supported by multiple intelligences and personalized learning with innovative methodologies, while in secondary education, interactive methodologies and cooperative learning are employed through transversal and comprehension projects.

The center offers complementary services such as a cafeteria, school transport, and extracurricular activities. The kitchen is in-house and uses fresh local foods, with menus that include adaptations for various allergies or intolerances.
