Escola Àngel Guimerà

Escola Àngel Guimerà is a public educational center in Sant Andreu de la Barca. It offers early childhood education, with first and second cycles, and primary education. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and Catalan. The center organizes students into small, medium, and large communities. It has a school cafeteria service and publishes the menus. It has a School Council and an AFA with its own project. The center publishes its educational project, which includes the PEC, PLC, PdC, NOFC, and EDC, as well as the academic calendar and other documentation. It also offers open doors.

Throughout the school year, students participate in outings and end-of-year activities in natural and adventure settings. The 6th-grade students visited Castellolí, engaging in water and adventure activities, and celebrated a pizza, music, and party afternoon before finishing the stage. The 5th-grade students went to Can Juliana in Castellar del Vallès and participated in a first aid workshop. The 4th-grade students had their end-of-year outing in Llinars del Vallès, with water games, inflatables, and foam party. The 3rd-grade students visited Catalunya en miniatura, where they did a zip line and hanging bridge circuit and saw models of emblematic places. The 2nd-grade students enjoyed Les Deus Aventura in Sant Quintí de Mediona, with an adventure circuit in the trees, zip lines, and a circuit in the bauma dels Degotalls with slides, slackline, and tug of war. In the early childhood education playground, the center adapts proposals with water and sand and takes advantage of shaded areas on hot days.
