La Llar d'Infants Virgen del Pilar is a private early childhood education center located in El Palau, in Sant Andreu de la Barca. It caters to children from 4 months to 3 years, organized into five classrooms by year of birth: infants, middles, and big kids. This distribution may vary according to individual needs and the developmental stage of each child. The classrooms are spacious and bright, with materials and furniture adapted to each stage. The center has a psychomotricity room, a multipurpose room, two outdoor playgrounds, and a chapel, and it takes advantage of its location to have more outdoor space for activities. It offers a dining service with its own kitchen providing homemade meals and varied and balanced diet menus.

Regarding methodology, no single method is followed, but flexible proposals that adapt to the individuality and development of each child. Activities are adjusted to their developmental level, respecting their rhythms and accompanying them with the necessary motivation. Learning is enhanced through imagination, creativity, experimentation, discovery, play, psychomotricity, and autonomy, through different projects and in an affectionate and respectful environment. The goal is for the child to be happy and autonomous in an environment where they feel loved and safe.
