Pitufos

La Escuela Infantil Pitufos is a private center in Navalcarnero authorized by the Community of Madrid that serves the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, from 0 to 3 years, with a bilingual project. It is presented as a pioneering center in its municipality and has more than 25 years of experience. It occupies 300 square meters on a single floor, distributed in four classrooms (0-1, 1-2, and 2-3) and a multipurpose room. The baby room includes a changing table and restroom, a space for preparing bottles, a resting area with individual cribs, and play and dining areas. Outside, there is a large patio with natural shade, divided into two areas, with a sandbox and a paved area where children work on balance, gross motor skills, and coordination. It has a dining room with its own kitchen, where the menu is prepared daily with fresh and natural products, fruits, and vegetables; breakfast is served between 8 and 9, lunch between 12:15 and 13:15, and snack at 16:00. The center accepts daycare tickets and offers scholarships and aid.

The schedule runs from 7:00 to 18:00, extendable on demand, with flexibility in arrivals and departures, and remains open all year round from Monday to Friday, including July and August except holidays. Among its services are the transportation and pickup of children from the nearest schools, care on non-school days, summer camps with workshops and crafts, and extra-curricular reinforcement classes in all subjects with qualified staff. It has the anti-choking medical device DECHOKER, indicated for ages 0 to 5. It organizes excursions to learn about nature and animals, as well as cultural outings, and invites families to share days at the center; the doors remain open for parents to accompany children to the classroom and exchange information with educators. The team consists of a director and educators qualified in teaching and higher techniques in early childhood education.
