Carmen Martin Gaite

I.E.S. Carmen Martín Gaite is a public secondary education center located in Navalcarnero, in the Community of Madrid. It offers Compulsory Secondary Education, organized in two cycles (one of three years and another of one year) that aims for comprehensive training in the humanistic, artistic, scientific, and technological fields, preparing students for both further studies and their entry into the labor market. It also offers Bachillerato, lasting two years, with the modalities of Sciences and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences, oriented towards active life and access to higher education. It completes its offerings with vocational training (FP), co-financed by the FSE+.

The center provides access to a virtual secretary and a virtual classroom, as well as to the Roble/Raíces platforms, and publishes the list of textbooks and instructions for the ACCEDE program. It has a cafeteria service. Throughout the school year, it organizes open house days and disseminates information about the admission and enrollment processes, with differentiated deadlines for ESO and Bachillerato and for vocational training.

Among its activities, Onda Gaite stands out, the school radio station, where students from the radio workshop create programs and interviews. Additionally, to prepare students for university entrance exams, the institute conducts an exam week at the end of each term in the format of the PAU tests.
