San Salvador

El Colegio El Salvador is a private school in Leganés, in the Community of Madrid, established as a Cooperative Society of Associated Work and created in 1978 by a group of teachers. It offers second cycle Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education, stages concerted with the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid.

In fourth year of ESO, the school offers different pathways that combine Mathematics A or B with scientific, humanistic, and technological options. The scientific option of Mathematics B includes Physics and Chemistry, Biology and Geology, and Digitalization; the Humanities options incorporate Economics, Latin, and Digitalization; and the technological options include Technology, FOPP, and Digitalization. Since the 2015-2016 school year, the school has been developing its own project in English language and enhancement of mathematics: in Primary, the hours of English were increased to five weekly, with one hour daily, and Arts & Crafts is taught in English; in 1st and 3rd year of ESO, English is taught for four hours weekly, and in 1st year of ESO, one weekly hour of mathematics was added.

The school has a library, computer room, gym, and school garden, as well as a cafeteria service. Among its extracurricular activities are reinforcement and extension, English, fencing, multi-sport, guitar, choir, programming and robotics, multiple intelligences, psychopedagogical office, and afternoons in June and September.
