Pequesueños

Pequesueños is a preschool located in Leganés Norte, next to the M-40 and between the areas of La Peseta, Parquesur, and El Bercial. Its educational team merges traditional methodologies with the most innovative ones, and all the tutors are certified Early Childhood Education teachers.

The pedagogical project includes Montessori materials, understood as a tool to bring children closer to real life, stimulate their senses, and reinforce their self-esteem and security, promoting teamwork and cooperation over competition. Contributions from Waldorf are incorporated, based on the child's rhythm through experimentation and artistic and manipulative activities, aiming to develop autonomy and group cooperation, and from Reggio Emilia, which starts from natural materials and light so that the little ones can build their own knowledge. Positive discipline is also applied, a movement that fosters respect, communication, affection, and empathy. Psychomotricity is approached from two perspectives: the Pikler approach, focused on free movement and autonomy, with the child setting their own pace, and the Aucouturier approach, which works on the body-mind relationship for the development of thinking, creativity, and affection. The center highlights respect, individualized attention, and the relationship between family and school as key aspects of its method.

Among its services are extended hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, telepediatrics, different menus, annual camps, and year-round operation. It also organizes talks with specialists, events, and celebrations. Its extracurricular activities include a playroom, psychomotricity with music, English, and dance.
