Lope De Vega

CEIP Lope de Vega is a public center in Leganés that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. In Early Childhood, it has classrooms for babies and children aged 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years, so its offer ranges from the first cycle to the end of the Primary stage. The center organizes open house days for families interested in learning about its characteristics, stages, and projects, as well as the admission process.

Among its services and facilities, it has a cafeteria, library, sports hall, and playground, as well as extended hours for the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, lunch scholarships, and complementary and extracurricular activities. The working languages are Spanish and English.

The center develops various projects. It participates in PROA+, funded with resources managed by the Community of Madrid and the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism. The places created in the center for the first cycle of Early Childhood Education have been financed with the credit allocated to the Program to promote enrollment in the first cycle of early childhood education, primarily for girls and boys aged 1 and 2 years, within the framework of component 21 of modernization and digitalization of the educational system. For the 25-26 school year, it organizes, together with the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, activities to work on the emotional aspect of students through dance, promoting teamwork and social and cultural inclusion. It also conducts training with students and teachers for collaborative learning in the classroom, linked to the implementation of LOMLOE, which affects the entire Primary stage, and sustainability workshops to raise students' awareness on this matter.
