Little Bees Las Abejitas

Las Abejitas is a private preschool in Leganés, privately owned and authorized by the Community of Madrid, catering to children up to three years old within the first cycle of Early Childhood Education with a Spanish curriculum. The center is defined as Hispanic-English, and its teaching is bilingual in Spanish and English, with the idea of taking advantage of early childhood as an ideal stage for learning a second language. Its own educational project is based on the Multiple Intelligences methodology, aimed at enhancing the individual capabilities of each student and their comprehensive and individualized development. Among its objectives is to provide a happy, warm, and safe environment, as well as to convey through daily activities hygiene and nutrition habits that promote children's autonomy. The educational line of the center works with a globalizing methodology and integrates the traditions, values, and customs of Hispanic and English cultures.

Regarding services, the school has a cafeteria with menus designed to be balanced, nutritious, and adapted to the needs of each growth stage, as well as school transport and extracurricular activities. For families, it offers a parents' school, where topics such as potty training, tantrums, emotional communication, healthy habits, and daily routines are addressed; tutoring, designed as a space to share impressions, resolve doubts, and work together on each child's growth; and a daily agenda with information about the day, food, hygiene, sleep, and activities.

The center's calendar adapts to that established by the Community of Madrid for first cycle infant schools, with services from September to July, and remains open during August to facilitate family reconciliation.
