Escola Isidre Martí

Escola Isidre Martí is a public center for early childhood and primary education in Esplugues de Llobregat. It offers the first and second cycles of early childhood education and the primary stage, with Catalan and Spanish as working languages.

The center provides morning care, midday space with a school cafeteria, extracurricular activities, and summer camp, as well as outings and camps. Among its projects are inter-cycle workshops, an exchange with a Japanese school, a reading aloud contest, the Sharing to learn program, the children's council, Cantània, and the initiative "grans i petits aprenem plegats". It has documents such as the educational project, the rules of organization and operation, the coexistence project, the linguistic project, and the center's digital strategy.

The school celebrates the Diada de Sant Jordi with craft workshops (puppets, bookmarks, tiles, and stained glass), the representation of the legend of Sant Jordi by second-grade students, visits to the stalls in Plaça Catalunya, and in the afternoon, the Jocs Florals, with awards for the literary, drawing, and mathematical photography contests, as well as traditional dances like "Volta cap aquí", the dance of nanos with the big heads of the school, and the ball de bastons. It also organizes camps, such as those in Can Rigol in Begues for the initial cycle, and activities like Pedals al parc in the Parc Ciclista del Llobregat.
