Pablo Neruda

Colegio Pablo Neruda is a public school in Coslada, owned by the Community of Madrid. It is under the jurisdiction of the Madrid-Este Territorial Area Directorate and the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports. It is defined as a non-bilingual teaching center, with Spanish as the working language and English included in its offerings. It provides the second cycle of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education.

Among its services and activities are the school cafeteria and extracurricular activities, which begin in October. The playroom and the reception service operate from the first day of classes. The center has a library and reading room, and it has an AMPA, which channels information to families. It participates in the Erasmus+ Project and in the Accede Program for textbook loans, so students enrolled in the latter do not need to purchase the manuals. It also provides information on assistance for books and curricular materials and on scholarships for school meals and breakfast from the Community of Madrid.

Throughout the school year, the school develops its own initiatives, such as the Cultural Week held in February, and maintains a school newspaper and blogs for activities and training. Family support is organized by appointment during established hours for the secretary, head of studies, management, and teaching staff.
