Francisco De Vitoria

CEIP Francisco de Vitoria is a public center in Burgos that teaches the Spanish curriculum. Its educational offer includes the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education, with a bilingual section in English and French teaching in the last years. Among its facilities are a school library, also integrated into the network library, and a sports complex. The center provides a cafeteria service, school transport, an early risers program, and afternoon extracurricular activities, and offers care and supervision for students during lunchtime. It has a virtual classroom and a blog as digital workspaces.

Throughout the school year, the center develops various plans and projects, including those related to healthy and sustainable schools and plastic-free schools, fair trade, solidarity and recycling campaigns such as bottle cap collection, inclusive education, the BITS Center program, Digicraft for digital competence in collaboration with the Vodafone Foundation, EduCaixa, Save the Children, and the project "The center also teaches." It also works in the field of information and communication technologies and digital security, and participates in the RELEO+ program for textbooks, with its own book bank. The center has an AMPA and a cardio-healthy space, and is recognized with the Healthy Life Seal and as a reference center in Children's Rights Education (Level 1).
