Las Infantas, Burgos

Niño Jesús School in Burgos is a privately owned institution with origins dating back over 300 years. It offers early childhood education (second cycle, ages 3 to 5), primary education, and compulsory secondary education — the latter two with a semi-private character — as well as Bachillerato. In early childhood education, physical, emotional-affective, social, and intellectual development is addressed through early stimulation, which includes auditory stimulation, neuromotor development, and an encyclopedic program, along with a robotics activity based on Lego Education and digital resources. English is introduced from the age of 3 with teachers from the school and additional weekly sessions with a native teacher.
In primary education, work is organized by grade levels with coordination between levels and a global and integrative approach, supported by cooperative work, multiple intelligences, digital whiteboards, tablets, and Robotix within the curriculum area of Plastic Education. In secondary education, which is semi-private, academic training is combined with closeness and attention to diversity, and in the final year, guidance plays an essential role; cooperative work is part of the daily experience. The ESO classrooms have movable walls, digital equipment (digital whiteboards, tablets, and laptops), movable furniture, and high-density wifi, and tools from Google for Education such as Google Suite and Google Classroom are used. Robotics and programming are included in the curriculum of secondary education and Bachillerato.
The Bachillerato, at the private level, offers tracks in the fields of Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences under the Entrepreneurial Bachillerato model, which is structured around three pillars: academic training, learning in connection with the business reality, and human and evangelical training, along with personalized follow-up. The school is authorized as an Oxford center within its English Project, has leisure activities, and provides a private access area for families and the educational platform EducamosJuntos. Its owner is the Educere Foundation, which also manages the uniforms.
