Virgen De Europa

Virgen de Europa School (CVE) is a private center located in Boadilla del Monte that provides education from ages 0 to 18 and is an IB School, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Its educational journey begins in the first cycle of early childhood education, which is provided at La Casita CVE, a dedicated facility designed for the youngest children and situated a certain distance from the rest of the school; the origin of the center dates back 65 years. Following this, early childhood education (3-6 years), primary education (6-12), compulsory secondary education (12-16), and Bachillerato (16-18) are offered, with International, Biosanitary, Technological, Social Sciences, Artistic, and Performing Arts modalities. The activities are conducted in Spanish and English.

The educational project focuses on the student. In the first cycle of early childhood education, a protective and caring environment is sought, with appropriate stimuli and respect for each child's developmental pace; in the 3 to 6 years stage, exploration of the real world is encouraged, without virtual stimuli, working on attention, curiosity, and observation; in primary education, instrumental skills such as writing, reading, verbal expression, and calculation are consolidated; and in secondary education, emphasis is placed on the formation of the mind, awareness of learning processes, creative thinking, and autonomy. Among the services of the center are its own cafeteria with menus prepared at the school and work on healthy eating habits, school transport from Madrid and nearby municipalities, medical service with daily nurse and doctor, and a psychopedagogical office to assist students with learning difficulties. It also has early morning care and extended hours. Its facilities include a swimming pool, library, sports hall, football field, athletics track, laboratory, computer room, gym, cafeteria, school garden, and playground.

The extracurricular activity offerings include musical, sports, scientific, artistic, and theatrical proposals, and include sports schools for handball, skating, hockey, and rhythmic gymnastics, as well as a mountain club that organizes family outings and a ski week. The music and dance school offers violin, cello, classical and electric guitar, piano, bagpipes, trumpet, and drums, in addition to orchestra, ballet, hip-hop, and musical theater. The center also organizes schools and summer camps.
