Profesor Maximo Trueba

IES Profesor Máximo Trueba is a public institute in Boadilla del Monte integrated into the educational platform of the Community of Madrid. It offers Compulsory Secondary Education in four courses (1st to 4th ESO), with two teaching modalities in English within the Bilingualism Program of the Community of Madrid: the Program and the bilingual Section. The stage also incorporates the Curriculum Diversification Program. In Bachillerato, it offers two modalities: Sciences and Technology, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Bilingual education extends to both ESO and Bachillerato.

The center promotes education in values and coexistence through solidarity projects. The Learning and Service program (APS), aimed at 1st-year Bachillerato students and included in the Annual General Programming, is structured in several lines: the Peer Helper project, providing academic support to 1st and 2nd ESO students during breaks and collaborating with the Physical Education department in organizing sports activities for Active Breaks (leagues, refereeing, and championship promotion); an international cooperation project to fund a shelter for young people in a refugee camp in the Sahara, with fundraising campaigns; and a Volunteer and Community Service program in which students perform solidarity work in the municipality in collaboration with the Social Services and Education departments, with placements in disability centers and nursing homes, among others. The center also participates in the UNESCO Associated Schools Network, with activities culminating in a conference where students research and defend a country's position using the United Nations model, based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Regarding facilities, the institute has 30 group classrooms, an auditorium, three sports fields, a gym, a calisthenics facility, laboratories, a music room, technology workshops, five computer classrooms, and a robotics classroom. It also offers extracurricular and complementary activities.
