Thau

Thau Barcelona is a semi-private school located in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, at the foot of Collserola, with the forest being part of the center itself. It offers early childhood education (first and second cycle), Primary, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18).

Its educational project is structured around several axes: integral education, which includes values, critical thinking, and emotional well-being; individualized support, close and attentive to diversity, with monitoring and guidance for students; and a stable and committed teaching team focused on continuous training. Instruction is provided in four languages — Catalan, Spanish, English, and French — with the support of CIC Idiomes. The center pays attention to science and technology, with digital resources to enhance learning, and to the arts through expression, creativity, music, visual arts, and theater. Additionally, the Fundació CIC and the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu maintain a preferred partnership to promote educational, scientific, charitable, and innovative activities.

Among its services and facilities, the center has a midday space with kitchen and monitors, extracurricular activities (Extra Thau), a library, reception and supervision outside school hours, its own nursing service, and a school transport service.
