Jesús María Sant Gervasi

Jesús María Sant Gervasi is a semi-private school located in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, in a natural environment. Its history dates back to the late 19th century: the Religious of Jesús-María promoted its opening in 1894, with construction works initiated in 1892 and directed by architect Enric Sagnier Villavecchia. The educational project of the center emphasizes education in human and Christian values and the relationship between family and school, with a pedagogy attentive to the needs of each student and aimed at awakening and developing their capabilities and skills. Among the traits that define its identity are welcome, respect, companionship, solidarity, commitment, and listening.

The center offers early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years), Primary, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). It incorporates the American Curriculum and offers instruction in Spanish, English, French, and German. In early childhood education, it works with the learning by doing approach, with the student as the protagonist of their own learning, the development of multiple intelligences, emotional and values education, neuromotor work, and daily interaction in English in areas such as Science, Motor Skills, and Story Telling.
