Escola Josep Maria Jujol

Escola Josep Maria Jujol is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and the Primary stage (6-12 years), with Catalan and Spanish as working languages. The center provides a cafeteria service and offers extracurricular activities.

The educational project is presented to families during open house days, where the facilities, teaching staff, and the center's proposal are introduced. The school maintains a family association (AFA) and publishes an informative bulletin each year with information about the school year, as well as the school calendar, monthly menus, and center documents, and holds pedagogical meetings throughout the year.

Among the activities developed, fifth-grade students participate in a science congress with research on the impact of the processionary caterpillar on the pines of the city. The school also celebrates the Jocs Florals on the occasion of Sant Jordi, in which all primary students participate, and has a sustainability committee that promotes sustainable mobility challenges. It also organizes celebrations such as the diada de Santa Cecília. The center supports the pre-registration and enrollment processes and bids farewell to students completing sixth grade each year.
