Serralada is a private preschool in Barcelona authorized by the Department of Education. The center identifies with the New School, also known as Active School, which considers that the basis of the educational process should be the child's deep interest in the subject or content of learning.

The center organizes students into age groups: Pollets (under one year), Conillets, Pops, and Cangurs (one year), and Pandes, Micos, and Elefants (two years). Among its services, it offers a cafeteria with its own kitchen that prepares daily menus with quality and local products, extended hours from 7:00 to 9:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00, English classes inside and outside school hours, swimming classes during school hours, excursions and optional camps, and activities during the month of August. The school year starts on September 1 and ends on July 31, and includes a gradual incorporation.

The educational work encompasses cognitive development, new technologies (digital boards and Bee Bots), musical awareness, social and language development, movement through psychomotricity, and personal autonomy (toilet training, learning to dress or eat alone). Additionally, the center provides school transport service, extended hours, and extracurricular activities.
