Escola Bressol Cap I Cua

Escola Bressol Cap i Cua is a private early childhood school located in Barcelona. It opened its doors in 1986 under the name Els Àngels and in 2016 adopted its current name, initiating a new educational and experiential project. The center is authorized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Its project is based on the learning and happiness of children, who discover, experiment, relate, and play to know their environment and integrate into society naturally. The educational team consists of teachers, educators, classroom assistants, and specialists in music, English, dance, and psychomotricity, and maintains a daily relationship with families. The methodology is based on routines and habits adapted to each course and seeks to develop the child's autonomy through stimulation and curiosity; each teacher creates situations that promote holistic development. Understanding and expression, vocabulary acquisition, and the gradual introduction of English with a native teacher are worked on within a globalized education based on areas of interest and environments, where experimentation and manipulation are essential.

Learning is collaborative and non-competitive: groups are organized so that some children help others, and the child always takes the initiative. Regarding services, the center has a dining room, with menus prepared by a cook who takes into account allergies, intolerances, and ages, and it is conceived as another classroom where practical life and nutritional habits are practiced. It also offers a service for extended hours, in the morning from 7:30 to 9 am and in the afternoon from 5 to 6 pm, extendable to facilitate the reconciliation of family and work life. Additionally, during the school year, optional swimming courses are organized with the Poliesportiu Claror.
