Cee Concha Espina

The CEE Concha Espina is a public special education center located in Barcelona. Its project revolves around training itineraries and the CEEPSIR service, and among its services, it includes a school cafeteria. The school is defined by understanding, accompanying, and generating opportunities for its students, and it has its own school calendar.

In methodological terms, the center applies play-based learning, understood as a tool for acquiring knowledge, skills, and attitudes, as well as sensory learning proposals, where children discover the world through their senses, and fine motor skills, aimed at the precise control of hand and finger movements.

Throughout the school year, it develops activities such as the celebration of Sant Jordi, the publication of a school magazine, outings and spring proposals related to nature, and the end-of-year party, which includes the graduation of students who are completing a stage. The center has been in its current location for more than fifty years.
