Rosetó

Escola Bressol Rosetó is a private early childhood education center located in the Gràcia district of Barcelona. It offers the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years) and the second cycle (3-6 years), and is authorized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Its educational project is based on building experiences and on an inclusive school: it proposes guided experiences that promote interaction with the environment in a safe and welcoming space, adjusts activities to the developmental moment and needs of each child, and attends to the overall development of the student to enhance their autonomy, sociability, and physical, emotional, and social development.

The facilities feature natural light as the protagonist in all learning spaces and include a large playground with differentiated play areas that is used throughout the year and hosts water games in the summer. The center has designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing or learning. It offers a dining service with its own kitchen, which combines local and seasonal products. The center maintains a direct communication channel with families through an application that allows them to follow school news and the day-to-day life of each child. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and Catalan, and the center complements its offerings with extracurricular activities.

The center was founded in 1978 by Mercè Rubiralta, and since then three generations of the family have worked there, preserving the same philosophy from its beginnings: to share the education of the little ones in a family-oriented and close manner, ensuring their well-being and development. Currently, the second generation, Núria and Gemma, is responsible for continuing the educational activity.
