Centre De Formació Professional Pejoan

The Centre de Formació Professional Pejoan, also known as Escola Pejoan, is a private center located in Barcelona, in the Gràcia district. Specialized in higher vocational training in Dental Hygiene and Dental Prosthesis, it has focused its activity exclusively in these areas since its foundation in 1982 by Francesc Pejoan i Muns. Its faculty is composed of dentists, dental prosthetists, and dental hygienists. In addition to higher vocational training, the center offers Bachillerato and a course in Dental Prosthesis Design, and enrollment is open.

Higher vocational training can be pursued in either face-to-face or flexible blended mode, adapted to the student's pace. In Dental Prosthesis, a paid Dual Vocational Training is offered starting from the second year. The training includes the use of CAD/CAM technology: students design, model, and manufacture pieces using machinery available on-site. The degrees are official and accredited, following the curriculum of the educational system.

Regarding outcomes, most students enter the workforce or continue their university studies. In the 2023/2024 cohort, 86.5% of students are employed, 67.5% continue studying, and 19% study and work. 90% of students achieve their goal of working or studying. Additionally, in 2021, the Pejoan Dental Laboratory was founded near the center, where students complete part of their educational curriculum and engage with a professional environment. The Pejoan family operates two dental clinics in Barcelona and Sabadell, where most of the staff come from this vocational training center.
