Reina Elisenda

Reina Elisenda Virolai is a private center located in Barcelona, in the Gràcia district, serving students from 0 to 12 years old. It provides early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6), and primary education (6-12). In the early childhood stage, the educational project is oriented towards the emotional and affective, physical and motor, social and cognitive development of children, in collaboration with families. The center fosters a climate of trust in which students feel welcomed and can grow and learn, respecting individual rhythms. The early childhood stage shares a building and spaces with primary education, which promotes collaboration and the realization of joint activities where older and younger students learn and care for each other.

The center seeks to awaken in the student an interest in learning, the habit of asking questions about the world around them, and the ability to seek answers. To this end, it proposes cognitive challenges and creates an environment rich in human relationships, with opportunities to reinforce confidence and self-esteem and advance towards autonomy and self-regulation. Regarding school organization, the first cycle of early childhood education runs from September to July, while the second cycle follows the mandatory school calendar, from September to June. The school hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The center offers morning and afternoon care services, as well as a holiday program during vacation periods.

Additionally, it provides a dining service and midday space, school transportation, and afternoon space, a psycho-pedagogical office, and extracurricular activities. It also has an early risers service and extended hours.
