Parque De Lisboa

CEIP Parque de Lisboa is a public center in Alcorcón that offers Early Childhood and Primary Education stages, with the presence of Spanish and English and a British curriculum proposal. For students entering Early Childhood at 3 years old, it organizes an adaptation period and an informational meeting for families where the assigned group and schedules for that period are communicated. The center has a school cafeteria and addresses common questions about the cafeteria, arrivals and departures, or nursing in a frequently asked questions section.

Among its initiatives, it develops Bibliopatio, a space set up in the playground for children to read during recess, which has expanded its collection with new literature copies. It has institutional documents such as the Educational Project of the Center, the Coexistence Plan, the Organization and Functioning Rules, the Annual General Programming, and the Annual Report, and uses the educational platforms of the Community of Madrid, such as EducaMadrid and Raíces. It also has a mailbox for drug-related complaints.

The teaching staff consists of a team of 42 teachers: tutors for Early Childhood and Primary Education, support in Early Childhood, and specialists in English, Physical Education, Music, Catholic Religion, Therapeutic Pedagogy, Hearing and Language, and linguistic advisors in English, with training in ABN Mathematics, emotional management, and digitalization of the center. The team is completed with a counselor, social worker, and nurse, and the center has a school council, AMPA, and orientation team (EOEP).
