Fuenllana

Fuenllana School is a semi-private bilingual center located in Fuentecisneros, in Alcorcón. It offers early childhood education (1 and 2 years), early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP), with Spanish and English as working languages. It has been part of the Bilingual Centers Network of the Community of Madrid since the 2010-2011 academic year, and English is used as an educational tool at all school stages. The center prepares its students for the official tests required by the bilingual plan of the Community of Madrid and for other Cambridge tests throughout secondary education and Bachillerato.

The core of the educational project is personalized education, understood as individualized monitoring throughout the entire school stage. The Guidance Department and the teaching staff, in collaboration with families, design a training itinerary for each student according to their qualities, abilities, and interests. The preceptorship, a figure distinct from the course tutor, is responsible for the personal guidance of each student, helping to develop their skills and acting as a link between the family and the school, creating a Personal Improvement Plan together with parents and students that is reviewed periodically. The project is completed with training in values, personality development, and differentiated education, which comprehensively addresses the specificities of girls and boys and takes into account their maturity rhythms.

The educational model works on the development of key competencies based on the instrumental areas of Language, Mathematics, and English, and incorporates the innovation of the Globalized Classroom. Among the center's services is the school cafeteria, and families have their own access portal for monitoring school activity.
