Escola Congost

Escola Congost is a public center located in Canovelles. It provides early childhood education and primary education, organized into cycles for small, medium, and large children, and also offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18).

Among its services are the school cafeteria and childcare, with menus adapted to various dietary needs (general, pork-free, and for allergies), as well as extracurricular activities. The center has a library and maintains a parent association (AFA).

Throughout the school year, various projects are developed. Students participate in a school radio and initiatives to promote reading, such as the Reto-Queta and the Peixet d'Or. In the English area, fifth-grade students have created a virtual library using block programming, recreating scenes from English books that are later visualized with 3D glasses, and the center celebrates an English Day with traditional games from different countries. Theatrical performances and sports days are also held in collaboration with other schools in the municipality, featuring collaborative activities, skills challenges, races, jumps, and throws.
