Escola Els Quatre Vents

Escola Els Quatre Vents is a public school in Canovelles that presents itself as a learning community. It provides early childhood and primary education, organizing its students into three groups: the small community, the medium community, and the large community. The school focuses on the area of mathematics and offers a school meal service, in addition to having a parent association (AFA). The school maintains a relationship with the Marta Mata nursery school in the same locality: the children who will join the center visit the classrooms alongside the I3 students to get to know the spaces and familiarize themselves with the stage.

Throughout the school year, various activities and outings are developed. The students from the medium community (1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades) have made a trip to Circ Cric. The 3rd grade groups have prepared and performed a play, "Peter Pan," in front of the whole school at Can Palots. The 4th grade students have visited the Jardins de Marimurtra, where they participated in an observation and study activity of plants. The 5th grade students attended a sports day held at the municipal football field alongside other schools in Canovelles and visited the Museu Molí Paperer de Capellades. The children from I3, I4, and I5 took a trip to Can Miqueló with water games and outdoor activities, and in I4, a handwashing workshop was held.

The school also participates in broader musical proposals, such as the Cantània at the Granollers Auditorium, and celebrates the end of the school year with a musical performed by the 6th grade students, who in one of the editions represented "The Lion King" at the Can Palots Auditorium. Additionally, the center has a website where it gathers educational digital resources.
