Llar D'infants Marta Mata

Escola Bressol Municipal Marta Mata is a public center in Canovelles dedicated to the care of children aged 0 to 3 years and their families. It is part of the municipal network for early childhood care, which offers educational resources and support aimed at the integral development and personal growth of children, while providing parents and family members with the necessary skills to fulfill their responsibilities in parenting. The center caters to the first cycle of Early Childhood Education and has eight open spaces.

Daily activities are organized around experiences such as the treasure basket, play, manipulation, and exploration of objects with different textures for the youngest; heuristic play, using everyday objects, for the first year in a group setting; and experimentation with elements from nature and other materials to develop the five senses. Activities related to water are also conducted, daily routines are worked on so that children progressively gain autonomy, importance is given to free body movement through psychomotricity, and children are stimulated with music through listening, songs, and dance. Catalan traditions are celebrated during popular festivals, and outings are scheduled to experience new adventures.

The center has eight spaces, two multipurpose rooms, three outdoor gardens, and a service area with a kitchen, office, and meeting rooms. It features a dining room, school garden, and auditorium, and offers extracurricular activities, in addition to teaching Catalan, Spanish, English, French, and German. The secretariat hours are from 10 AM to 1 PM.
