About the school

Voramar is a private non-profit foundation created in 1966 by families from the neighborhood with a vocation for public service. It is a semi-private Catalan school defined by its roots in the neighborhood and, at the same time, by an international vision. Its educational project is oriented towards a future-oriented education and a holistic model in which the students are at the center. The center participates in national and international projects that promote innovation, which helps to reinforce their concerns, learn from each other, share experiences, and maintain continuous training. Among the values it promotes are open-mindedness, multiculturalism, respect, solidarity, and commitment to society.

It offers Early Childhood Education (first cycle, 0-3, and second cycle, 3-6), Primary Education (6-12), Compulsory Secondary Education (12-16), and International Baccalaureate (16-18). The languages of the center are Catalan and Spanish. It provides a dining service with its own kitchen and midday activities included in the dining price. Extracurricular activities are managed by the AFA. It also has sports activities, considered essential in the education and training of students, and summer activities organized by the AFA and the school: a summer camp for the youngest, a youth camp, and summer colonies.

The center has the ROSVAL project, which coordinates all value training actions inside and outside of school hours. It is located in Barcelona, in the Sant Martí district, with nearby metro stops (Llacuna, Bogatell, and Poblenou).
