Severo Ochoa

CPEE Severo Ochoa is a public special education center located in Alcorcón. Among its facilities, it has a Hubbard hydrotherapy tank. It offers a school menu service, the monthly calendar of which can be consulted on its website once the corresponding registration has been completed. There are bus and commuter train stops nearby.

The center maintains a school radio project, Columpio Radio, with podcasts created by the school's radio team, and publishes its own school newspaper, El Columpio, which releases new issues throughout the school year. It participates in the national road safety short film awards, sponsored by RACE, with a video that showcases the work done during the year with other schools in Alcorcón, as part of activities where its students provide theoretical and practical road safety education to visiting students.

Additionally, it promotes solidarity initiatives, such as a race in favor of the Fundación Unoentrecienmil to support research on childhood leukemia, and implements a heat wave alert and prevention plan. It also informs families about NEAE scholarships and the associated documentation.
