Los Pinos De Maeve

Los Pinos de Maeve Preschool is a public center in Alcorcón that provides early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and the second cycle (3-6 years). Its educational project is based on supporting children in their development processes, with close collaboration between educators and families, who participate as partners in a common project. The goal is for children to feel happy and loved in their first experience outside the family environment. The center has several playgrounds that are used according to the needs of each group, especially during the welcome period. The vehicular language is Spanish.

The general schedule is from 09:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. There is an extended schedule service in the morning, from 07:30 to 09:00, with breakfast until 08:30, and in the afternoon, from 16:00 to 17:30, with a snack from 16:00 to 16:30. To request it, families must fill out a form 15 days in advance and justify the need with work schedule certificates from both parents. The cafeteria offers whole and pureed menus, adapted to the needs and ages of each level, as well as diet menus with medical prescription and menus adapted to intolerances or allergies, upon presentation of a specialist report. The introduction of new foods is done first at home. Bringing food from home is not allowed, and children with infectious diseases cannot attend. Families receive the menu and a dinner recommendation monthly. The center is open from September to July.

Additionally, the center offers extracurricular activities and the possibility to participate as a volunteer in its activities or make material donations.
