Fuente Del Palomar

CEIP Fuente del Palomar is a public school in Alcorcón that offers Primary Education, with teachings in Spanish. Its educational project places values, respect, tolerance, and a desire to learn at the center as its identity marks, and the center is defined as a preferred center in Aula TEA. In Primary, thirteen groups are organized, with two groups per level except for one that has three.

Among its projects, the expansion of English stands out, with daily contact with the language, a communicative approach, and the integration of different linguistic skills; the school garden, which integrates curriculum content and promotes a varied and healthy diet and respect for the environment; and Saludatuvida, with health education activities led by teachers aimed at raising student awareness about healthy habits. Students also participate in an ecological patrol organized in shifts that takes care of water, electricity, plants, and cleanliness, in theater workshops where they work on oral expression, public speaking, memory, intonation, and teamwork, and in the school radio Onda Fuente, a space created by the students. The center has the Aula Los Búhos.
