Institut Nou Alcarràs

Institut Nou Alcarràs is a public secondary education center located in Alcarràs (Lleida). It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato, using Spanish and Catalan as the languages of instruction. In the 2026-2027 academic year, the center will expand its educational offerings to include 4th year of ESO. The center has a parent association (AFA) that is part of its educational community.

Throughout the year, students participate in their own projects, such as the Espai Globalitzat, where 1st and 2nd year ESO students research inventions that have had a significant impact on the evolution of society. Workshops on critical information processing and outings and visits to CaixaForum Lleida, CosmoCaixa, and the Blood and Tissue Bank are also organized, as well as a study trip to Madrid for 3rd year ESO students. The center also dedicates a welcome day for 1st and 2nd year ESO groups to promote mutual knowledge and cohesion, including informative talks, such as one prepared for a solar eclipse.
