Escola Parc Del Saladar

Escola Parc del Saladar is a public school located in Alcarràs that offers Early Childhood and Primary Education. Its curriculum includes the first and second cycle of Early Childhood and the Primary stage, organized into initial, middle, and upper cycles. Instruction is conducted in Spanish and Catalan. The school provides a cafeteria service and has a family association (AFA), and among its facilities, it features a playground for Early Childhood and a new playground.

In the pedagogical field, the school implements the FAIG program, a maker project based on creativity, experimentation, and hands-on activities, recognized with the Premi Delta Cultura d'Or 2026. The school hosts the Fira de Projectes, also known as Fira FAIG, a day when students present the projects developed throughout the year and share them with the educational community. It also has Ràdio Parc del Saladar, a school radio station that broadcasts programs such as the one dedicated to the presentation of the fair. Among the educational activities are the reading plan and psychomotor sessions linked to learning projects, such as those conducted in I5 based on water projects.

The school organizes outings and complementary activities, such as camps in Tamarit, and visits like the one to the Biblioteca Pública d'Alcarràs during the Setmana de la Natura. It also participates in external programs: it has shared a project on SDG 15 (Life on Land) linked to the Centre de Recuperació de Fauna de Vallcalent, developed from the maker classroom, and students from I3 have participated in the Fira FAIG in Balaguer.
