Los Cedros

EEI Los Cedros is a public early childhood education center that provides the first cycle, from 0 to 3 years, and serves children from 4 months to 3 years. It has 118 places distributed across three levels: two units for 0 to 1 year with 16 places, three units for 1 to 2 years with 42 places, and three units for 2 to 3 years with 60 places. It is located in Villanueva de la Cañada.

It offers complementary services with extended hours in the morning, from 7:30 to 9:00, and in the afternoon, from 16:00 to 17:30. The cafeteria has its own kitchen and adequate facilities, providing a balanced and healthy diet. Children eat in their classrooms, with chairs and tables adapted for their safety and comfort, accompanied by their teachers, who encourage their autonomy at this moment: washing hands, maintaining a proper posture, eating the complete menu by themselves, and developing social relationships. The center accommodates all types of allergies, intolerances, and special diets. The cafeteria fee is €96 per month, and the extended hours are charged at €10.83 for each 30-minute segment.

Among its programs are language stimulation and EcoSchool, and among its projects are English, self-awareness, gardens, and the library. The educational project organizes activities proposed to children around five levels of intervention. Additionally, it offers extracurricular activities in English and mindfulness. The languages offered are Spanish, English, and French.
